News:2009:Honours Even In Skittles Match

Thanks to everyone who came to the quarterly practice and meeting at Wellow on Saturday, and to the skittles match afterwards.

The home team took on Bathwick (+ friends) in the skittles. It was a game of two halves with Wellow taking the early lead and Bathwick coming back at the end. At the end of the fifth and final leg, Wellow needed 6 pins to win ... they scored 5! And so the evening ended in an honourable draw. In addition, Molly and Clover were also even as top-scorers. We'll have to wait for next year to decide on a winner!
