Events:2009:Bath Music Festival

On the 22nd and 23rd May, the Bath Branch celebrated the start of the Bath Music Festival by ringing simultaneously in the central Bath towers on the Friday evening. See the plan for details.

The funding from this event then helped pay for the hiring of the Charmborough Mini-Ring on the Saturday in Kingston Parade, Bath. We rang from 10am until 5pm and gave demonstrations; gave out leaflets; and taught passers-by the basics of handling. Despite the fact that the majority of those that came past were tourists, we hope that maybe some of the locals will think about coming to learn to ring properly.
