Each week (normally Sunday evening’s) the postings from the website will be collected for the weekly bulletin to be sent by email to members of the branch.
In order to submit a notice, please Register for an account using the link on the left of each page. This will give you the ability to easily send in notices, practice alterations, request for ringers, noteworthy achievements, etc. Alternatively, we can accept notices via email to firstname.lastname@example.org however a posting on the website will ensure most people see it.
Once you are logged-in, use the black menu at the top the page and go to “New” -> “Post”.
Enter a suitable title and then the main body of your post. You can use the formatting options above if appropriate.
It would also be useful if you can categorise your post so that it’s easy to find. Select a category from the menu on the right from:
- News – a general news item
Also – please leave the default “Include in next Bulletin” category so that it’s picked up by the Newsletter Editor for the next email.
It would also be useful if you tag your post with the tower (if applicable) to which your post relates. Use the Tags menu on the right and find the tag for the tower by typing the name and choosing from the list of options.
Once you’re happy with your post, click the “Publish” in the top-right. You will then be able to see the post live on the site. You can also choose to preview and save a draft for later if you do not wish to publish it straight away.
You can amend a post by browsing to it on the website and then clicking the “Edit Post” button at the top.
