Stedman Triples opportunity

This year the Edna Grabham Memorial Education Fund Trustees have decided to try running some courses.

Our first one will be Stedman Triples, on MAY 13th, and the Tutor will be Mike Winterbourne.  Mike is Master of the Winchester and Portsmouth Guild and he is involved in the organisation of the Bradfield Ringing Courses.

The day will be based at Chilcompton.  We shall begin with a talk in the church hall, and then will move on to use the simulator in the tower, and other eight bell towers as well. Lunch will be laid on by The Holy Cow Cafe (!) in the church hall at Chilcompton.

We anticipate that there will be a lot of interest in this course, so obviously it will be a case of “first come, first served”.

There’ll be a small charge for the day, to cover expenses, and of course lunch will be extra.

We shall need some really steady Stedman Triples ringers as helpers, so if that’s you, please put it in your diary and let us know that you would be willing to come.

Please could you circulate this information to your Branch members, and ask anyone who is interested to get in touch with Anna Joyce (Piechna), Jill Hansford, Helen Beaufoy or Robert Perry.  Alternatively we can be contacted via www.treblesgoing.org.uk .

Applications for places on this course by February 28th please.
